தமிழின அழிப்பில் பங்கு கொண்ட இலங்கை இராணுவ அரசியல் தலைமைகளை உலக நீதிமன்றில் நிறுத்த கனடிய அரசியல் தலைவர்கள் ஓரே மேடையில் வலியுறுத்தினார்கள்

அண்மையில் கனடிய பாராளுமன்றில் கனடிய பாதுகாப்பு அமைச்சர் அனிதா ஆனந்த் மற்றும் பாராளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர் கரி ஆனந்தசங்கரியின் ஒழுங்கமைப்பில் தமிழ் மரபுத்திங்கள் விழாவின் இறுதி நாள் நிகழ்வுகள் நடைபெற்றன. Jan 30, 2023 திங்கள் கிழமை நடந்த இந்த நிகழ்வில் கனடிய பிரதமர் உற்பட கனடாவின் எல்லா கட்சி தலைவர்களும் கலந்து கொண்டு சிறப்புரை ஆற்றி இருந்தனர். கனடிய தமிழ் அமைப்புகளின் பிரதிநிதிகளும் கனடாவின் எல்லா பாகங்களிலும் இருந்து கலந்து கொண்டிருந்தனர்.

ஈழத்தழிழர்கள் மீது இலங்கை அரசாங்கம் கட்டவிழ்த்து விட்ட இன அழிப்பு நடவடிக்கைகளுக்கான நிரந்தர நீதியை பெற்றுக்கொடுக்கும் பாதையில், பொறுப்புக்கூறல் மற்றும் சர்வதேச நீதிக்கான அழுத்தத்தை மேலும் அதிகரிக்கும் வகையில் மனித உரிமை சார் குற்றவாளிகளாக அறியப்பட்ட இலங்கையின் இரண்டு முன்னாள் ஜனாதிபதிகள் மற்றும் இரு இராணுவ அதிகாரிகள் மீது சில தடை உத்தரவுகளை அண்மையில் கனடா அரசாங்கம் விதித்திருந்தமையை இந்த நிகழ்வில் எல்லோரும் மெய்ச்சினர்.
