மேற்படி விருதுகளைப் பெற்ற 3 சாதனையாளர்களின் பெயர்கள் இங்கு பிரசுரமாகியுள்ளன. இந்த உயர் விருதுகளைப் பெற்ற இந்த மூன்று சாதனையாளர்களின் செயற்பாடுகள். அவர்கள் எதிர்கொண்ட சவால்கள் மற்றும் அவர்கள் மேற்கொண்டுள்ள பணிகள் தொடர்பான விபரங்கள் ஆங்கிலத்தில் கீழே கொடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன.

Dr. Indran Indrakrishnan in the “Medicine” category
Dr Indran B. Indrakrishnan, a Sri Lanka born Tamil, is a Physician & an adjunct Professor at Emory University school of Medicine, Atlanta, Georgia. He sits on the Georgia Board of healthcare workforce overseeing the healthcare of Georgia. Dr Indrakrishnan has a special passion & interest for the prevention of colorectal cancer.
The Georgia state Assembly honored him by passing a resolution declaring February 14th, 2018, as Dr Indrakrishnan Day in Georgia for his relentless service to the community, making him the first physician and the first American of Asian descent to receive such an honor. Georgia senate also passed a resolution recognizing Dr. Indrakrishnan’s exceptional contributions in the treatment and raising of colon cancer awareness and leadership as a Professor of Medicine at Emory University school of Medicine. Georgia Asian Times Magazine honored him twice as one of 25 most Influential Asian Americans in Georgia.
Dr Indrakrishnan received lifetime achievement award of 2023 from Thamilar Thahaval magazine & Tamil information Center in Canada for his services & work in the medical field. With Dr Indrakrishnan’s persuasion, Georgia state declared January 14th Thai Pongal day and April 14th Tamil New year day in Georgia. Dr Indrakrishnan received “person of the year” award from the Greater Atlanta Tamil Sangam, for his community services & philanthropic activities towards Tamils.
Dr. Venu Prabaker in the “Medicine” category
Dr.Venu Prabaker is a highly experienced physician with over 35 years of practice in internal medicine, with a focus on aggressive preventive care to provide longer & healthier life. He was
the Founder, President, and CEO of San Diego Independent Accountable Care Organization, Health Care Medical Group, CareMed Corp which developed the first electronic medical records
in the country in 1994, WelconnectMD as well as a co-founder of MyOwnMD and a Co-Founder
of American Tamilnadu Medical Association (ATMA).
He is one of the Board Member a charitable organization SDIAS and founder & CEO of “We are the Parents Foundation” for orphan kids’ education. He served as a Board Member of San Diego Medical Society, Solo & Small Practices Board of California Medical Association.
He has founded and led various organizations over his long career as well as served as a passionate educator and clinical faculty member for multiple universities including Stanford, UCSD, USC, Yale etc., with extensive experience in teaching and supervising medical students, residents, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners over his long career. He is also one of the founders of San Diego Tamil Sangam
Ms.Thenmozhi Soundararajan in the “Activism” category
Thenmozhi Soundararajan is a Dalit Civil rights artist, organizer, and author of the Trauma of Caste who has worked with hundreds of organizations to better understand the urgent issues of
racial, caste, and gender equity. Working across disciplines she is an innovative strategist and thinker that has built bridges between many communities around the world. Through her work at Equality Labs, Thenmozhi has mobilized the South Asian American community to confront their historical trauma and to build power and to heal from structural violence.
Her intersectional, cross-pollinating work—research, education, art, activism, and digital security—helps to create a more generous, global, expansive, and inclusive definition of South Asian identity, along with safe spaces from which to honor the stories of these communities. Thenmozhi’s work has been recognized by the U.S. Congress, The Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center, New York Times, Washington Post, BBC, Guardian, ABC, and NBC news. She is a current fellow at Stanford Center for South Asian Studies.
